From the 20th to 22nd of october 2023 we are at the Maker Faire 2023 at the Fiera di Roma, in the stand of the Roma Tre University. On display, our inflatable planets and moons, will guide participants on a journey to discover space exploration, from the Moon to the colonization of Mars, up to Jupiter and its icy moons. From the 25th of  September to the 1st of October, we celebrate Science Week and the European Researchers’ Night by collaborating with the LEAF 2022 project of Frascati Scienza. On this occasion, in collaboration with the Roma Tre University and with INAF researchers, Speak Science has prepared a number of activities for the general public and for schools. Here is the complete calendar: Sunday 25th September 2022 from 14:00 to 20:00 Speak Science collaborates with the Scienza in Gioco event at the Diamond Garden in Via Gramsci in Rome, with the activity From the Earth to the Moon … and beyond !. For more information: https://www.frascatiscienza.it/fsapp/evento/275 From the 26th to the 29th of September the appointment is in the morning starting at 9:00 in Frascati, at the Valadier Walls, in Via del castello 19, 00044, where Speak Science in collaboration with INAF and the Roma Tre University presents Planets in a room on a guided tour of the Solar System. The activity is by reservation only and dedicated to school groups from 9 to 14 years. Thanks to the didactic telescope, it will be possible to admire the details of the solar atmosphere. In addition, it will be possible to experience the real-time effects of the illumination of the terrestrial globe on the oriented globe. Come and visit us from 5.00 pm in Frascati at the Valadier Walls, in Via del castello 19, where together with INAF researchers we will tell the public about the Solar System and its exploration with Planets in a Room, on a guided journey through the Solar System suitable for all ages. Also on 30 September, at the Roma Tre University, in via della Vasca Navale 109, in Rome, Speak Science proposes an interactive exhibition entitled A walk in the Solar System, guided observations at the telescope and Science Pills. The appointment is at 7pm! The first scientific article dedicated to Planets in a Room has recently been published in the prestigious Astronomy & Geophysics magazine. After having participated in person to present the project live at many scientific congresses around the world, we decided to publish an article in open format, accessible by anyone online from this link. Planets in a room is once again at EPSC!  After two editions online due to pandemic, EPSC, or the Europlanet Science Congress, the European congress dedicated to Planetary Sciences organized by Europlanet, is back in attendance from 19 to 23 September 2022 in Granada, Spain. And with the occasion, Speak Science and INAF had the opportunity to present the do-it-yourself planetary simulator among special guests, also organizing a Workshop to explain how it works. On this occasion, we will also bring Planets to a room in Spanish schools, thanks to a morning of lessons in a high school in Granada commissioned by the organizing committee of the Congress, as one of the many open activities for schools.
